(Easily) Fix That Ripped Jacket

Don't stitch it, stick it!

Fine / light nylon fabrics like this don't stitch well. Stitching can actually make the tear worse.

A clear superglue tape, like Gorilla Crystal Clear, is quick, easy, waterproof, and hard-wearing.

Also great for raincoats, backpacks, umbrellas (the fabric bit), tents, sleeping bags, etc.

(Note: Fabrics with thicker fibres do stitch well, we love stitching and I do a lot of it at home!)
