Please note: trees grown in Ireland have a coarser grain than trees grown in drier or colder climates. So whilst these toys are carefully and repeatedly sanded, painted, sanded again, and most are perfectly smooth, there can sometimes be some roughness to some parts, especially the inside of cut-outs, e.g., where a window has been cutright through the wood.
