Delivery & Returns
How we deliver
Most orders go with DPD's carbon-neutral overnight service. Like all couriers as of now, they use diesel vans. Electric delivery vans are just coming into existence but are not in Ireland yet. DPD are carbon-neutral because they offset their emissions by investing in renewable energy in the developing world, and are always investing in lower-emission vans. We all know offsetting isn't the answer but it's as sustainable as it gets for delivery now. There are a few new couriers with "eco" in their titles but they're doing just the same.
For retail customers, we subsidise shipping costs to the following:
- Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland:
- €4.95 for orders under €50 (and orders over €50 including *das.Brett* because of its bulk);
- €2.95 for orders over €50 *not including das.Brett*;
- Free for all orders over €150.
- Mainland UK: €9.95;
- Other countries: Varies by weight - we ship with FedEx or DHL and just pass-on the cost per our contract with them - this will be calculated for you at checkout.
For wholesale / trade customers, please discuss delivery costs with us.
Delivery lead time
Orders to anywhere on the island of Ireland placed before noon on a weekday will 95% of the time arrive next working day. Orders to mainland UK take 3-4 working days.
Unless you chose a (clearly indicated on our website) pre-order item, in which case your order will dispatch once that is restocked, usually within a week.
You will receive a notification email when your order is on the way.
We use minimal packaging while also making sure that your items arrive in perfect condition. We pack plastic-free - using cardboard boxes, Green Jiffy Bags, and paper tape. We re-use packaging we receive (which is also plastic-free - we don't accept plastic in our supply chain).

We do our very best to ensure that your items reach you in perfect condition. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to resolve any issues.
If there's no issue but you've just changed your mind, you can return any unused item in exchange for either what you paid for the item, or an alternative item. EU law allows 14 days to tell us you want to return it, and a further 14 days to get the item to us. Submit a return / exchange request online here, or contact us email@example.com. Refunds will be processed when the item is returned in original condition. Return and exchange shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
